The family of Indianapolis comedian Ron Sexton, best known for his down-home character "Donnie Baker" on "The Bob & Tom Show," have issued a public statement following Sexton's unexpected death last week while touring in Ohio.
Sexton died Friday, July 21. The cause remains unknown. He was 52.
Late Tuesday evening, Tracey Sexton, his wife, issued this statement to IndyStar:
"Though his talent was unparalleled, Ron was so much more than Donnie Baker. He was a loving husband, father, son, friend, and coach. We know he is at peace and are proud that he will continue to make people around the world laugh forever. We appreciate all of the love and support
