Cedar Point guests get stuck on roller coaster, forced to walk down

 ABOUT POST

Cedar Point guests were reportedly forced to evacuate a roller coaster after the ride stopped because of a mechanical issue on Monday.

The Sandusky, Ohio amusement park’s Magnum XL-200, which reaches 205 feet high, experienced a “standard ride stoppage,” Cedar Point’s director of communications Tony Clark told Fox News Digital. Riders had to walk down the stairs on the roller coaster to exit.

Clark said the incident was a “check engine light” scenario, according to the outlet, and the ride could not be restarted at the time. Cedar Point did not respond to USA TODAY’s request for comment.
