Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce has made a less-than-surprising revelation about his pot-smoking, stripper-watching viral video that led to the Hall of famer's firing at ESPN in 2021: He was drunk.

'Alcohol,' he explained in a promo for his new Fox reality show. 'Lot of alcohol.'

Pierce, 45, was fired by ESPN as an analyst in April of 2021 when the married father of three posted a video on social media, showing himself enjoying exotic dancers and some marijuana.

The dismissal came only a few days after the incident, and as Pierce explained to disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong on the upcoming Fox reality show, Stars on Mars, it was entirely his fault.

When asked how the video ended up on social media, Pierce admitted: 'I accidentally did, my dumb ass.'
