A bronc rider was killed during the first performance of the West Texas Fair & Rodeo in Abilene Saturday night.
According to a report from the Big Country Homepage, Expo Center General Manager Rochelle Johnson said the rider was thrown from his horse and died of injuries suffered in the fall.
