Casey was a BMX rider who won gold at the 2021 Summer X Games, as noted here.

According to this article, news involving the accident stated that a man (later identified as Casey) “had crashed his motorcycle while performing a jump on the park ramps.” As a result, “life-saving measures,” were performed but the man was, unfortunately, pronounced dead.

This TikTok video reposted by user @steezyodom shows a news station detailing the series of events as they unfolded.

The deadly crash at the Motocross freestyle track involved Casey supposedly losing control of his vehicle and being ejected, causing his death. The video of the accident is allegedly circulating online but HOLR will not be linking to or posting the video as it contains graphic content.

Casey was 29 years old. As noted here, the BMX community, fellow athletes, and peers are paying tribute to him through social media posts. In fact, Casey’s wife, Chase, took to Instagram to share loving posts and repost other social media tributes to the BMX rider.
